Our Beans

frenchroastYup, that’s right. Not all roasts are created equal. The difference in flavors comes because of two reasons.

1. The temperature of the roast can enhance or even change the flavor characteristics of the beans.

2. The flavor profile of the bean. This usually is determined by the country and region the bean comes from.

For instance, a bean can be roasted at a lower temperature and still be considered dark or “bold” roast because the bean has a stronger flavor profile. The temperature gauge in the shop shows the roasting temperature of the bean.

Below the gauge is the description of the roast. This is going to explain more of the flavor profile and whether its a light, medium, bold, or extra bold bodied flavor.
